SUDDEN CARDIAC ARREST (SCA) & OTHER HEART RELATED ISSUES

If YES to even ONE (1) of these questions, please speak to your provider about a thorough heart screening

Other sudden cardiac arrest causes include:

  • Congenital (since birth) heart defect
  • Coronary heart disease
  • Changes to your heart’s structure because of disease or infection
  • Extreme physical activity or blood loss

Question 1

Have you ever fainted, passed out or had an unexplained seizure suddenly and without warning, especially during exercise?

Question 2

Have you had exercise-related chest pain or shortness of breath?

Question 3

Has anyone in your immediate family or distant family died of heart problems or had an unexpected sudden death before the age of 50?

Question 4

Are you related to anyone with heart related issues or anyone younger than 50 years with a pacemaker or implantable defibillator?
